Has anyone looked at writing an exporter for Prometheus?

    I have tested it and authored a technical exploration doc that is currently in review . Once done it will be published and available. In general it worked as described, and came with a fixed set to system table queries. The early version I tested used an older vertica-sql-go driver, so I alerted the author and he was quick to update it to the latest. I was able to successfully extend it to add both more system tables and also user tables. You just have to know GO programming language.
