Can anyone provide a list of useful system tables relevant to EON mode usage? I am thinking of nodes/ shards mapping, s3 connectivity details, depot info, etc.

    A number of these are in the documentation (my.vertica.com appears to be down now; we're working on it):

    System tables:
    shards
    node_subscriptions
    session_subscriptions

    DC tables:
    dc_depot_fetches
    dc_depot_uploads
    dc_depot_evictions
    dc_udfs_events
    dc_udfs_statistics_by_minute (and other ilk)
