vertica's init.d script (/etc/init.d/verticad) is using rpm -q vertica to find out if vertica is installed, which does not work for community edition, because the rpm package is called vertica-ce

    Changing the line to rpm -q vertica-ce in /etc/init.d/verticad and /etc/init.d/vertica_agent apparently fixes the problem.
