Can I install Vertica on Fedora 18?

I want to install Vertica on Fedora 18 as older version of fedora is not available to download.

If you're considering installing an older Fedora, you might consider installing CentOS instead. CentOS is free and is 100% binary-compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. (Red Hat has to release their source code; CentOS just re-builds it.) So our RHEL RPM will install on it. And both are based on Fedora; I believe CentOS (and RHEL) 6 are derived from Fedora 13/14?
