Does Vertica has an already existing tool for Validation of migrated data from TeraData to HP Vertica ?? If I am migrating data from Teradata to Vertica do I have the Data validation featute provide by Vertica ???

Hi Syed, The best way to validate the data is typically to run queries against both systems that contain simple counts or aggregates and compare results between the two. Regards, Alison

We have a tool known as iCEDQ which is used for migration testing. It will solve your problem Syed. Actually currently i am writing a white paper on how to test using iCEDQ when migrating to vertica.
