Upgrade Path: Is skipping a version fatal?

When upgrading Vertica 5.1 to 6.1, we skipped the 6.0 upgraded in error, going from 5.1 to 6.1. There appears to be no problem. What are the ramifications of this error?

    Hi, We don't assign resources to test this updates. It is the main reason why we don't support it. However, the big change between version 5 and 6 is a catalog rebuild. I will recommend do some meta data queries, for example, select * from tables, from projeciton_storages, etc and stop and start the database few times. If you don't have a problem you should be good to go. Eugenia
