Small table: Too many ROS containers exist for the following projections
Hallo, in May we switched from infinidb to vertica. The migration is almost finished and we are happy. We loaded data of 9 months in the new database, The times for loading, selection and updates are fast. But today an error occurred. So we stopped loading. Can you please help us to solve the problem? Here is the information from logs: INFO : Found 1 MaintenanceTask(s) . INFO : Updating MaintenanceTask using sql: UPDATE oaslt.maintenance_task_run SET run_state='IDLE', external_id=NULL WHERE task_type=?1 AND run_state='RUNNING' AND run_id=?2 params=[LOG_FILE_LOAD, 448] WARN : SQL Error: 5065, SQLState: HY000 ERROR: [Vertica][VJDBC](5065) ERROR: Too many ROS containers exist for the following projections: oaslt.MAINTENANCE_TASK_RUN_super (limit = 18119, ROS files = 7458, DV files = 10660, new files = 8) oaslt.MAINTENANCE_TASK_RUN_super (limit = 18119, ROS files = 7458, DV files = 10660, new files = 8) ERROR: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: [Vertica][VJDBC](5065) ERROR: Too many ROS containers exist for the following projections: oaslt.MAINTENANCE_TASK_RUN_super (limit = 18119, ROS files = 7458, DV files = 10660, new files = 8) oaslt.MAINTENANCE_TASK_RUN_super (limit = 18119, ROS files = 7458, DV files = 10660, new files = 8) The table oaslt.MAINTENANCE_TASK_RUN is one of our tables with the smallest number of rows. Within one hour we insert 20 rows, update and delete them. This table has never more than 100 rows. So we assume, that there could be another problem? This problem is very urgent for us. Thank you very much. Best regards
