    Anotherway, in vertica create a external Stored Procedure ( which is nothing but a .sh ( shell scripts)). This shell script can connect to Oracle and pull the records and use COPY command in the script to load to Vertica.

    Your question is very generic ! 

    I think you should choose one tool and ask how you can migrate using that tool ! ? 

    Give it a try first on your own then start asking ! 

    Eg : some etl tool(Pentaho,Talend,Syncsort DMExpress)
