How do I block a db user

I want to block specifically a user who is creating lot fo connections to DB. What's the command to block a user speicifically?

    you can block the user by: alter user account lock; You can also limit the memory for the user or associate the user with a resource pool that restricts connections from the user to a pre-specified limit. /Sajan
