Is there an easy way to export roles, users and grants and import them into another database?

Much like export_objects does for schemas/tables/projections/pk/fk/sequences/etc...

    Hello Andrew, I would recommend, just write a simple bash script which gets you sql for all the existing roles, users and grants and then deploy into another database. Hope this helps

    Hi Navin, That's how I've done it in the past. I was just curious if there was a supported way to handle this, given there are passwords for some of the accounts that are not LDAP authenticated and it would migrate the password hash.

    Hello Andrew, I don't think this functionality is available as of yet with vertica 6.1.2. For now the export works on catalog level and object level ( tables / projections ) But for sure, this could be considered as a good enhancement feature .
