Are there any plans to release JDBC drivers which implement APIs newer than those from JDK5? We'd really like to be able to use the Connection Wrapper interface introduced in JDK6 to avoid jumping through hoops to obtain a VerticaConnection from a connection pool. Also, being able to use the try-with-resources mechanism in JDK7 would be nice as well.
