copy database backup and backup size

Hi,
I have a database backup with restorePointLimit = 1 and hardLinkLocal = False.
How does vertica store "older information" in incremental backup if I am not using hardLinkLocal?

If I take a look at the backupDir I see 180GB full snapshot and 60GB incremental snapshot, but when I get into the incremental snapshot directory I see 180GB. How is that possible?

Also, I want to copy these backups into another disk. And  I would like to know what would be the actual size needed : 180+60 or 180 x 2 ?

When you restorePointLimit = 1, first time you will see one directory and next time onwards there will be two directories ( one for the latest and another for achieve), these directories are linked each other in some way to point to some files. So By measuring the size of each folder does not actual size of backup database.
