There is currently no officially-supported key/value-store functionality in Vertica.
You can certainly store keys and values in Vertica -- just create a table sorted by your "key", and use "SELECT ... WHERE key = '...'" as a GET and INSERT ... as PUT, etc. Though current versions of Vertica aren't really tuned for this use case, so you won't see great performance.
If you're interested in this use case, feel free to find us at a conference or event, or talk to your sales rep if you have the Enterprise Edition. And/or add it as an Idea here in the forums.
