Add columns to projection

Does anyone know of a way to add a column to a projection (that is not a super-projection)?

Or do you always rebuild the entire projection from scratch whenever adding columns?

    From support I found out that there is currently way to add columns to non-superprojections.

    So I'm more curious in the community feedback about this. If you have a large projection (that is not a super-projection), do you really do full rebuilds when adding columns?

    No real advice about how to work around it.

    But we have entered "adding columns to non-superprojections" as a feature request (VER-30079).
