Permission denied. admintools.conf.lock

Hi,

I have downloaded Vertica 6.1.3 vm. When I try to start the admin tools it throws error as permission denied, /opt/vertica/config/admintools.conf.lock.

Don't know how to resolve this. Please help me.

check permissions for folder /opt/vertica/config:

daniel@vertica-node2:~$ ls -ld /opt/vertica/config/
drwxrwxr-x 6 dbadmin verticadba 4096 Nov  8 20:33 /opt/vertica/config/

If owner isn't dbadmin, so perform the following:

$ sudo chown -R dbadmin:verticadba /opt/vertica/config
