Can we do validations during data load and reject the data if validation fails using COPY?

    You can! There are a few examples shipped with Vertica. A simple example can be found by searching for the word "reject" in /opt/vertica/sdkexamples/ParserFunctions/ExampleDelimitedParser.cpp
