Backup taken by vbr.py
Hi,
If we have a backup that we take of objects or full database using vbr.py then is there no way we can use that backup to be restored onto a different cluster?
Our use case is:
we have a full backup running on the database every day, in case anyone drops a table or schema then we will restore the whole backup onto a standby cluster and will take the backup of the dropped schema or table and restore it back onto the primary cluster.
Is there no way to do this using vbr.py --task backup and restore?
should copy from vertica be used for such cases?
Thanks
Saumya
