Create Cluster by MC with error: you need binary vioperf to use this script

After i installed the MC 6.1.x version successfully, i began to use this web interface to create a cluster. The validation process for one node cannot be passed due to only one issue: "Validating binary vioperf is available: you need binary vioperf to use this script", in the "Validating Disk Requirements" category. The vioperf is actually existing in the folder: /opt/vconsole/bin/rhel/vioperf, which is fully accessible for the account dbadmin. Does anyone know what the problem is?

The MC and the node share one Linux box. (Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.3 (Santiago))

Comments

  • Is the Vertica version at least 6.1.2?
  • I use "vertica-6.1.2-0.x86_64.RHEL5.rpm" and "vertica-console-6.1.2-0.x86_64.RHEL5.rpm". Anyway, finally i use command-line installation method and it works without any error.
