add vertica as a data extension for sharepoint

Anyone know if I can add vertica as a data extension for Microsoft Sharepoint? I installed the vertica .net driver, but when I tried to publish vertica data source to sharepoint, I got the following error: 
  • An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'Vertica' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.DataExtensionNotFoundException: An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'Vertica' that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in this edition of Reporting Services.

    resolved this problem by using sharepoint New-SPRSExtension" command
