Vertica supported on Proliant Blade servers?

I would like to know if Vertica DB is supported on HP Proliant blades (e.g. BL460) and RHEL OS. I've seen a number of threads and customer configurations using HP DL servers and preventing from using blades but I'm not sure where this is a recommendation related to specific hardware components available on DL and not on BL's or a hard limitation (i.e. Vertica would never tun ok on blade servers) which I would like to understand.
