I wanted to install flume in vertica but keep on getting error messages. 

[root@vertica0 ~]# sudo yum install flume

Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package flume available.
Nothing to do

Anyone encounter the same problem?

    You cannot install flume from yum. You must install it according to the readme on the GitHub page for the Social Media Connector.
