Vertica is well suited for BI/DW, though,

how about the OLTP performance?

Anyone have OLTP experience oh Vertica?

    Vertica Architecture will not work well for OLTP loads.
    Update & deletes will not workas  needs to work in OLTP system (Lock granularity and deleted vectore issues).
    If you want OLTP db you have a lot of other options
    Oracle,mysql,volt db  ohhh yes and sql server .
