You might try BryteFlow CDC for Vertica http://www.bryte.com.au/products/bryteflow-change-data-capture/ It uses log based data capture from Oracle to Vertica. It sutomatically replicates schemas, does an initial synch and then delta synch using the Oracle archive logs or redo logs. This is very reasonably priced when compared to other tools. Hope this helps.
