Upgrading Vertica from 6.0 to 7.0

Hi,

We are upgrading vertica from 6.0 to 7.0 . So I'd like to know that , Is it necessary to follow the standard path i.e upgrading 6.0 to 6.1 & then 6.1 to 7.0 or we can directly upgrade 6.0 to 7.0 . Also I'd like to know any easier way to do the upgradation.
