How does K-safety value affect the compression ratio in a cluster.

I am seeing 84% compression when K-safe is 0 and 55% when Ksafe is 1. Is the projection data, causing this ??

Without knowing exactly what is going on in your system, it seems reasonable that in a K-safe 1 environment, you have extra buddy projections which would create extra data in your environment that you wouldn't have in K0. That extra duplication (required for redundancy) could be the explanation for the difference in compression ratios.
