hadoop Integration with Vertica

We are going to install a Vertica Entreprise Edition 1TB with 3 nodes. And I would like integrate Hadoop with Vertica for historical Data and high Latency data.

o   Hadoop recommended System Requirements . The idea is to have a ratio of 1 to 10 between Vertica and Hadoop.

o   How does it work Vertica with Hadoop?

§  How data between Hadoop and vertical move?

§  It is possible configure the data transfer policies?

§  when a request is received. Vertica is capable of fetching data to Hadoop if necessary?
