i/o errror in vertica loadbalancer
HI,
I'm using 4 node vertica cluster. I Don't have public IP for the system. They have only internal ips and also have one common IP for loadbalancer. The problem in dev try to write in DB by directly pointing to vertica node not by loadbalancer.
When they try to write a large amount of data through loadbalancer they get some error:
5 [INSERT - 0 row(s), 0.000 secs] [Error Code: 0, SQL State: 08006] An I/O error occured while sending to the backend.
Is it good to write large data with loadbalancer? I'm not sure if that is a loadbalancer issue.!!

Can you elaborate more on your load balancer setting? When you say internal IPs, do you mean the cluster is not visible to the client trying to load data, and the only way is to connect via the loadbalancer?
We load a large volume of data to Vertica cluster via a hardware loadbalancer without any issues, so I suspect it is either a network or a configuration issue.
