When will vertica pulse be offered as a production ready software? Currently i heard that its in the beta version and can be only be used in Sandbox type environments.

Hello Jyothsna,
Pulse is available in a separate package for 7.1.x. I checked 7.1 document, and there was no mention that Pulse is in beta or that it can only be used in sandbox environment.
Below is an excerpt on myVertica.com:
"HP releases the HP Vertica Community Edition (CE) on a slightly different schedule than the Enterprise Edition. The most current release of the HP Vertica CE is 7.0.2-1. We will release version 7.1.x of the Community Edition, including the GA versions of Vertica Pulse and Place at a later date."

To use Pulse, you will need 7.1 enterprise edition.
