Can we use vertica 6.X licence key with 7.X version?

Hi, We are using enterprise licence of 6.1.2 (2 TB raw size and 4 node cluster). Now we want to upgrade to version  7.X. Is it possible to use the same key with 7.x version?

    Hi Parvendra.

    Upgradation does not require a new license key.
    You can always upgrade a Vertica Enterprise version to its new vertica Enterprise version with the same license key.
    If you follow the proper upgrade procedure from one version to another, you will notice, it does not ask you about your license key any where in the process.
