Network time protocol on MC cluster

when I imported cluster and tried to open it from MC, It shows the following time sync error.

Cluster on management console is not communicating with the vertica hosts. Review the MC prereqs and make sure you have network time protocol to sync the system time between the cluster hosts.

I did not select LDAP. the command on Linux to check for stratum is giving this results:

stratum=3, precision=-24, rootdelay=62.953, rootdispersion=75.833

    Make sure that $date  command displays same date and time on all nodes and MC server.
    Also check if service is running
    ntp       1889     1  0 Jul20 ?        00:00:14 ntpd -u ntp:ntp -p /var/run/ntpd.pid -g
