I install vertica 7.1 on raid 5 and get this error HINT (S0151): These disks do not have known IO sc — Vertica Forum

I install vertica 7.1 on raid 5 and get this error HINT (S0151): These disks do not have known IO sc

when I install vertica 7.1 on the raid array and get HINT (S0151): These disks do not have known IO schedulers:        '/dev/mapper/vg_00-LogVol02' ('') = '', '/dev/mapper/vg_00-LogVol01'
('') = ''These disks do not have known IO schedulers

I search the help package and get that :
If the installer cannot detect the type of scheduler that the system uses (typically if your system is using a RAID array) then it reports the issue with identifier: S0151

but how can I tackle this error and complete the installation.

by the way, I install it in a production environment. can I just ignore this hint and continue my installation?

You can use the following option during your install,
--failure-threshold More info in documentation about that option. Regards
