Vertica CE 7.1.x on XFS

Support platform doc (https://my.vertica.com/docs/7.1.x/PDF/HP_Vertica_7.1.x_Supported_Platforms.pdf) warns "In particular, several file corruption issues have been linked to the use of XFS with HP Vertica".
Are there any more details about this? Have been using PostgreSQL on XFS for some time with no XFS issues, and would like to know more about what HP has encountered in current versions of XFS.

    I used verttica 5 and 6 for many months on XFS without any problem and with heavy workloads, but the engineers in the forum I have often discouraged to continue, so I switched to ext4
