ODBC 11430 Error - Catalog name not supported

I'm trying to execute some reports on Vertica 7.0.1 from Cognos and for some of them i got this type of exception:

"UDA-SQL-0104 The feature "open cursor" in the function "{1}" is not supported.[Vertica][ODBC] (11430) Catalog name not supported.[Vertica][ODBC] (11430) Catalog name not supported."

Note that most of reports are working without any problem and i have also configured properly ODBC.ini & VERTICA.ini files (tested by isql and connected successfully).

Does someone know what can cause this problem?

Hi Elad,

Could you please check if you have

ThreePartNaming=1
in odbc.ini file. If now then please add this line and check if that works.

The same is not working for me.

 

Below are the attributes from ~/Library/ODBC/odbc.ini

 

 

[ODBC]
Trace = 1
TraceAutoStop = 0
TraceFile = ~/log
TraceLibrary =
ThreePartNaming=1

Please let me know if I am missing anything .
