MC design tab — Vertica Forum

I am working with my 7.1.1. virtual machine and trying to run DBD via MC.

VMart is up and running but once i click the design tab, i get the message:

 

Design info won't be available until the database is up and running

 

How to fix it?

    Hi,

     

     Could you check if all the nodes are up in the database by issuing select * from nodes; in vsql prompt

    it is a sandbox, Vertica VM on my laptop.

     

    I've solved the problem by deinstalling Vertica and MC and deleting the /opt/... and /home/dbadmin and then installing them again.

     

    The problem had to do with the traces of previous re-installtions.
