Vertica and OS X Yosemite - ODBC connectivity problems

I'm not quite sure where to start.  I've tried the routine install of the HP Vertica drivers, odbc.ini and odbcinst.ini config.  I still run into issues and can't seem to get any ODBC Administrator to work properly except iODBC.

 

If anyone has gotten HP Vertica ODBC to work on OS X Yosemite, can you walk through the proper config?
