Finding R packages for Vertica

just getting back into developing some R udf's for Vertica and I'm hitting a problem with installing packages.  W'ere running R 3.0.0 for Vertica and it seems the most recent versions of the packages I want have a dependency on a newer R version.

 

Any tips for finding out which archived package will support 3.0.0 or earlier ?  Am I running the most recent version available to Vertica?    R 3.0.0 is now I think over 2 years old, any sign of an upgrade for Vertica?
