Unable to connect vertica(remote server) using JDBC

HI,

 

I am unable to connect to vertica(remote server) using simple JDBC program.

 

I can able to connect to the vertica (remote server) using dbvisualiser.

 

And,when I locally downloaded vertica community edition and use the same jdbc connection i can able to connect.

 

Could you pls help me what might be the issue in connecting vertica(remote server) using jdbc in VM. Thanks in advance.
