Hello Everyone:

 

I am receiving the following error during installation of  the Vertica community edition vertica-7.2.0-1.x86_64:

 

# rpm ivh vertica-7.2.0-1.x86_64.RHEL.rpm

 

error Failed dependencies:

dialog is need by vertica-7.2.0-1.x86_64.

 

What is the problem?

    You need to install dialog before installing 7.2.
    For example,

    # yum install dialog
