Hi -

 

Our operations group is performing a POC with Vertias NetBackup. Long story short, the agent is installed on each of the cluster nodes and performs a full backup of the entire directory structure (not the backup files created when performing a Vertica database backup), it backups the live database directories.

 

My question - is anyone leveraging Veritas to backup their cluster? 

Does the restore process work?

 

 

Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.
