Remove down node from cluster

I have four nodes cluster Vertica. One on the nodes felt down because it HDD was crashed. I want to remove the node from cluster via admintoos but can't do it because all nodes must be up for the action. Can I remove down node from my cluster?

    Can you replace the faulty disk from the node? Is it possible?? If so , try to do that.  Do you have a standby node in the cluster? If so, you can use it replace the down node. Please visit the following URL on how to replace a down node with standby node
