Connect Vertica To django

I'm trying to connect django to an existing vertica database.

 

I installed Vertica Python https://github.com/uber/vertica-python But i can't use it in django.

• I tried with: github.com/lionheart/django-pyodbc (django.core.exceptions.ImproperlyConfigured: Django 1.9 is not supported.)

• django-vertica (Error was: cannot import name BaseDatabaseWrapper)

• github.com/rutube/django_vertica_backend (Error was: No module named base)

Is someone already did this configuration on django and how ? Thanks.
