my current directory gets filled very fast ,How to change location for catalog ?
Hi,
This is not recommended and is not straight forward.
Can you check what files are being written to the catalog directory? Is logrotate working properly for vertica.log?

Normally yes . Mostly dataprotector directory and vertica.log occupy space .
There is no dataprotector, i guess you mean data collector.
- Review your data collector policy see here how to deal with it step by step here:
http://wp.me/p5zzAw-Nt
- or change their location , see this article on how to do this step by step here:
at the end of the article.
I don`t recommend you alter your catalog location. just change the location for your DC and see the policy on those dc tables.
hope this helps
