Node IP not getting connected from native Mac terminal - Vetica VM

Hi All, I tried to search the forum for exact same quertsion but couldn't find any. I started Vertica on VM and trying to ssh the node ip from local terminal in the mac for easy typing/copy/paste etc.

However couldn't reach vm on 127.0.0.1 (ssh dbadmin@127.0.0.1 -p 5433). Tried to change the node IP however since it is single node, can't bring it down and then run update statement on the DB to change node_Address.

Could anyone suggest.
