I have to develop an api rest in J2EE 1.7 and I want to use a hp vertica database 7.1

Could anyone tell me if is it possible use hibernate to access to the database tables?

Have compatibility using Hibernate in Java with HP vertica?

I know that a second option of Hibernate is myBatis.

Yes you can , make sure yiu use postgres dialect
