How to get a notification when a DDL change/Config_parameter change/ special event occurred in vertica?

I have mail access and i can generate a mail alert if i could capture these events.

I don't think Vertica has a feature of alerting in case of any DDL changes. 

 

If I were you, i will put a shell script to capture today's ddl and compare it with yesterday. If there is any difference, an email will be generated. Same applies to parameters.
