VERTICA cluster restore in case of loose of /backup in some servers

Can i restore a vertica database cluster if i have the /backup of only one server? Will this server be restored and used to update the others?

Or if i have an old /backup in one server, will this server be restored with the old info and after that updated from the others?

 

I have a cluster of 3 servers.

 

I am creating a disaster recovery procedure, and i am trying to cover every possible case.
