RejectionTableData full of zero sized files

My Vertica version is 7.2. I'm using Kafka JSON parser to ingest data into a Flex Table. This directory is full of "zero-sized" files. I get like 4 files every second and this is shooting up the disk utilization. 

 

/home/dbadmin/iot_vertica/v_iot_vertica_node0001_data/RejectionTableData/

 

The kafka queue is empty and not producing any data. Even then the zero sized files are being created at high rate.

 

I've attached the screenshot of the files being created and the vertica log. 

 

What could be the problem?

I saw the same issues. Is any parameters of vertica to auto delete the files.

This should be fixed vertica 7.2.3.4 onwards.
