I have existing vertica installation . How to change the ip adress to a new number ? What are steps/?

There is no simple way to re-IP node.

 

You may use one of 2 supported procedures to achieve what you need.

In both cases you will be waiting for Vertica to copy data to new node

 

 

Possible option 1 is "Replacing a Failed Node Using a Node with a Different IP Address"
