May Vertica Community Edition have a 2nd cluster for replication?

I am interested in using Vertica Community Edition with under 1TB data on 3 nodes.

 

I am thinking of using replication to copy all data from that cluster to a 2nd cluster which would be a development or staging database.

 

Would that violate license terms?

Yes, you can.  However, you are limited to only one remote copy.  All community edition license rules apply meaning up to 1TB and 3 nodes.

Where in the license terms does it say one remote copy?
