Connection between Vertica and Oracle via ODBC
I've used Vertica 7.2.2 database and I need get data from Oracle database.
I want to use Oracle ODBC for access to the database from Vertica. I've installed Oracle instance client and oracle sqlplus:
oracle-instantclient11.2-basic-11.2.0.3.0-1.x86_64
oracle-instantclient11.2-sqlplus-11.2.0.3.0-1.x86_64
What additoon packages do I need to install and how I can configure Oracle DSn for Vertica?

Why don`t you pipe it into Vertica !
Use this example here :

use the same template for Oracle

Many Thanks, but I need transfer data from Oracle to Vertica database in Linux environment
Hi 19233,
I can't help you with Oracle but googeling "linux oracle odbc" yielded a lot.
Of course, you have to get things running first, but if you do not already have a differen solution, I can stronly recommend the ODBCLoader package which approved to be very useful for us.
